PIR movement detector

A PIR detects movement in a room and

therefore offers excellent protection. This

means if anybody is moving about in a

room covered by a PIR the alarm will be

set off. They are ideal for rooms with

high value items in such as the lounge.

The PIR detects movement within a 12m

radius and therefore is suitable for all

but the very largest of rooms. They

should be located in the corner of the

room and 2m from the ground for

maximum coverage.

Control unit

The HSA3500 comes with a control

panel, this is the “brain” of the alarm.

It is used to control the alarm such as

switching it on or off. The control unit

should be located where it is

accessible when entering, and should

not be visible from the outside.

Door/window contact

These can be used to protect all doors

and windows, the alarm will be set off if

the door or window is opened. These are

particularly suitable for use in properties

where pets or areas where authorised

movement may be required.

Panic button

The panic button alerts attention to the

property in the event of a medical

emergency or panic situation. When

used in conjunction with the HSA3500,

the alarm will communicate a dedicated

message to the users mobile or other

phone line, informing them of the alarm.

Remote keypad

Can be used with the HSA3000 as the

main control panel to set or unset the

alarm. It can also be used with the

HSA3500 as a second keypad for an

alternative entry point or in the bedroom.

Smoke alarm

The smoke alarm activates the alarm in

the event of a fire. Because it is digital, it

is particularly suitable for use where

everyday fumes such as burnt toast or

kettle steam may set off normal

detectors. When used with the HSA3500,

the alarm will communicate a dedicated

message to the users mobile or other

phone line, informing them of the fire.

Keyfob remote accessory

The HSA3000 kit comes with a keyfob

remote. This can be used to set or unset

the alarm from inside or outside the

property from a range of 30 metres.

Additional keyfob remotes are available

and are suitable for both the HSA3000

and HSA3500.

Siren box

Additional sirens are available for the

back of the house.
